The big news towards the build up of the olympics was all about safety. With fierce protests and terrorist warnings security is high on the agenda at the Beijing olympics. The Chinese government have deployed 100 thousand police officers to protect and oversee the Olympics. As pictured China had received terrorist threats suggesting that they would attempt to bomb Beijing during the olympics. What was China's answer to this? well, to buy bigger and better bombs to combat the tourists, and to have them on show to put the frighteners up the little buggers.
